BJC ranks Silver Class in Sustainability Yearbook 2022

Berli Jucker Public Company Limited, or BJC, has been recognised with the distinction of Silver Class in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2022’s Food & Staples (consumer goods) Retailing category.

 

The recognition was announced in the Sustainability Yearbook 2022, a global report on corporate sustainability performance across different industries.  The award recognises BJC’s success as a reliable business partner driving society for over 140 years. It testifies to the company’s delivery of better living experiences with emphasis on environmental stewardship and sustainable upstream, midstream and downstream business operations, covering all dimensions while closely adhering to ESG (Environment Social Governance) guidelines.

 

Over 7,500 companies in 61 industries worldwide participated in this year’s Corporate Sustainability Assessment by S&P Global, the globally recognised sustainability evaluator. BJC’s award marks an important milestone in its commitment to being a leader in business sustainability creating value for all stakeholders and engendering confidence in its performance. BJC’s long-term sustainability-related plans and goals include several projects being implemented in 2022. They range from supply chain management to addressing climate change and human rights issues. All with the aim to keep in step with Thailands’ and the United Nations’ sustainability goals.
